“Research shows that there is only half as much variation in student achievement between schools as there is among classrooms in the same school. If you want your child to get the best education possible, it is actually more important to get him assigned to a great teacher than to a great school.”

Our Mission As Educators

Our mission as educators is to instill the belief in our students that they can achieve anything! It is our goal to foster intellectual growth in them by instilling a passion for learning as they pursue truth, goodness, and success in the classroom as well as life. We will show them compassion and fairness. We will treat our students as individuals as we strive to meet their intellectual and emotional needs. It is our desire to mold our students into independent and critical thinkers that try to find solutions for themselves. We want to equip our students with the thinking and learning skills that will motivate them to continue to learn well after they have left our classroom.

Our Responsibilities

Our primary responsibility as an educator will be paying attention to the different learning styles of our students so that we can adequately guide them towards their discovery of their truth. We are responsible for enthusiastically teaching and challenging our students to broaden their perspectives; in turn, our students will also develop a passion for learning and experiencing life beyond what they have seen. Our responsibility is to set clear expectations for discussion, assignment completion, and classroom behavior. Most importantly, we hold ourselves responsible to relate to our students by being role models of good character, honesty, virtue, and living with a high moral standard.

Our Vision

  • Support our students as explore new ideas in a safe, welcoming classroom environment

  • Be an inspiring and empowering force in their lives so they are excited and motivated to learn

  • Develop an inclusive classroom atmosphere in which all students learn to appreciate and respect the diversity in their class

  • Nurture kind, caring and compassionate young people with the skills to apply their values in and outside of school

  • Ensure all students regardless of gender, race, ability, or social class have the opportunity to succeed in our classrooms

  • Develop a forward-looking, technologically enhanced, and motivating learning environment

  • Inspire a lifelong love of learning by creating lessons that are exciting, authentic, engaging, and relevant to the lives of our students

  • Create visible and real change in the lives of all students in our classrooms, be it cognitive, social, or personal

  • Help our students identify the passions that they will pursue in their final years of schooling and beyond

  • Set high expectations for all our students so they come to class engaged and excited to learn every day

  • Prepare students for the next steps beyond high school, including in the workforce, their communities, and their personal relationships

  • Help our students to realize their potential and discover their passion for and path in life
